Jake and Amy's, Houston Art Car Klub!, New Year's Eve Party, wedding cake!
So, what's the story here you ask?? Well, Jake came in for the annual Houston Art Car Parade in 2007 as an art car artist with his art car The Von Tiki. He met Amy, of Houston's own Roller Derby girls. They hit it off, a match made in art car heaven. By the time Houston's next Art Car Parade rolled around in 2008, Jake had already moved here to be with Amy. Since they met at an art car event, they thought it only appropriate to marry at an art car event. They tied the knot just before midnight New Year's Eve 2008. Our own Rev. Bryan Taylor officiated the ceremony. This cake is my present to them and is perfect as no forks, plates or napkins are needed. :)
